Top9Software is free to read. We earn money in three ways, and each one is always visible to you.
Affiliate links
Some “Visit website” buttons are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines, and they never decide a tool’s rank.
Sponsored placements
Vendors can pay for a featured placement. A sponsored listing always carries a yellow “Sponsored” badge on its tile, its comparison card and its review. A sponsored placement never replaces one of the nine editorial picks.
Our own products
The company behind Top9Software also makes some software. When one of those products appears in a list, its review says so in a disclosure note, and we test it with the same criteria as every other tool.
What never changes a rank
Payment, commissions and listing requests never change where a tool ranks. Only a new hands-on review does.
